2. Eligibility & Account Registration
2.1 Account Creation

3. Membership & Subscription Plans

3.2 Automatic Renewal
Monthly and Annual Subscription Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You authorize us (via our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method for each renewal.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your Subscription Plan at any time from your member dashboard under Membership settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access until that date, and no partial refunds are issued for the unused portion of a billing cycle unless required by applicable law.
3.4 Lifetime Plans
A Lifetime Plan grants access for as long as the Service remains operational under our ownership. It is a one-time payment and does not renew or expire on a recurring basis.
3.5 Plan Changes

4. Book Access & Individual Purchases
4.1 Access Types
Content on the Service may be made available under one of the following access models, as designated by us for each title:
- Subscription-Only — accessible for online reading exclusively to Members with an active, eligible Subscription Plan.
- Purchase-Only — accessible only after an individual one-time purchase, regardless of Subscription Plan status; purchased titles may be read online and downloaded.
- Hybrid — accessible to eligible Subscription Plan Members as part of their plan, or available for individual purchase by non-subscribers, with the same read and download rights as a direct purchase.
4.2 Purchases Are Final
Individual book purchases are generally non-refundable except as required by applicable consumer protection law or as described in Section 7 (Refunds).
4.3 Access Continuity
If your Subscription Plan lapses or is canceled, you will lose access to Subscription-Only and Hybrid Content that was available solely through your plan. Content you individually purchased remains accessible to your account regardless of your subscription status.
5. Payments & Billing
5.1 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
5.2 Pricing & Currency
Prices are listed in the currency displayed at checkout and are subject to change. Any price change will not affect an already-completed transaction.

8. Reading Journal & User-Generated Content

Notes, highlights, and journal entries you create within the Service remain your own content. You grant us a limited license to store and display this content back to you as part of the Service’s functionality.
8.2 Content Standards
You agree not to submit journal entries, notes, or any other user-generated content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
9. Gamification, Achievements & Streaks
Experience points (XP), levels, badges, and streaks are provided for engagement purposes only. They hold no monetary value, cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, or redeemed for cash or any other consideration, and may be reset, adjusted, or discontinued at our discretion.
